Welcome to the qMD at the UVA School of Medicine!

qMD is the LGBTQ+ student group at the school of medicine. We are dedicated to raising awareness of queer issues in medicine for the benefit of patients, healthcare providers, students, and the local community. From working to improve LGBTQ+ education in the school’s curriculum to volunteering at the Charlottesville Pride Festival and hosting regular social events, we hope to foster a sense of community among LGBTQ+ students and allies in the school of medicine.
